Modern Colorful Wedding

Tayler and Brandon know how to throw a freakin’ party!! Their wedding day brought all the modern, colorful vibes complete with disco balls and alllll the vibrant details. I was WORKING and it was literally the most fun I have had at a wedding, so I can’t imagine how it was for the guests! We met because the groom, Brandon, was my junior high BFF, so it was definitely a full circle moment to capture his wedding day to the love of his life, Tayler.

Hobby Center for Performing Arts is located in Houston, Texas and is truly such a gem. This venue can fit VERY large weddings and events, so it was the perfect setting for Tayler and Brandon’s 380 guests – sooo many humans y’all! Truly, it was the perfect spot for their entire vibe: classy with a unique twist. Classic details came through by getting married at a chapel, the reception venue choice and Tayler’s dress. Correspondingly, they totally nailed the unique details like the suuuuper colorful flowers (how freaking cool!? – The Flower Note absolutely killed it!), along with the checkered dance floor, Tayler’s pink shoes, disco ball installation, and late night pizza from Frank’s.

Tayler and Brandon’s wedding was the most magical night!! Make sure you check out the outfit change and bathroom make out sesh during the reception. SO GOOD.

“Don’t let the stress of planning get to you – it’ll all be worth it! For your big day, add in small details. Make the day as long as you want it to be. Hire an amazzzinng photographer (like Erin). Dance until you can hardly dance anymore. It’s up to you to make it the best and most memorable night of your lives.”
