Bre and Blake’s Parker, Colorado wedding day will go down in my books as one of the sweetest weddings EVER. These two are kind, humble, throughout & just overall wonderful humans. It was truly an honor to capture their perfect day! Fun fact: Bre and I had never met, but have followed each other on social media for years. Bre messaged me back in college (2016 era) saying that when she gets married, she wanted me to photograph it. So, being able to capture her day was a full circle moment and super special.
Their venue, Villa Parker, transported guests straight to an Italian countryside. It is like Tuscany meets the rockies. Located south of Denver, this venue brings stunning natural beauty with outdoor and indoor options. The photo opportunities are endless between the Spanish style architecture full of arches and the backdrop of the Rocky Mountains. There is beauty every where you turn your head, it made my job super fun this day!
God’s presence was felt all throughout their day. Through prayer, worship during their ceremony, and the rain stopping just in time for their ceremony. There was a peace felt despite the circumstances. The day started with unexpected rain – I’m talking about a downpour. Thankfully, the rain stopped just in time for their ceremony but it started right back again as the reception started. With everyone jumping into help clean and dry up the area it turned into something so sweet. Their ceremony was probably the most meaningful and special ceremony’s I’ve ever photographed. Their moment of worship was beautiful & everyone was in tears.
We partied the night away inside at the reception where everyone stayed nice and dry. The night wasn’t complete without toasts, cowboy hats and bubbles on the dancefloor. Witnessing Bre and Blake’s love for one another was something I’ll never forget!
WORDS FROM THE BRIDE AND GROOM:
What is your FAVORITE memory or moment from your wedding day?
The worship portion of our ceremony. It was calming, peaceful , and a special moment to enjoy the Lord’s presence with our closest friends and family.
What is one piece of advice you would give to future brides planning their wedding?
Take time enjoying the joys of the season— they will go by all too fast.
How did you feel when looking through your final Wedding Gallery?
Happiness! Joy! The photos gave us glimpses of not only our day all over again but behind the scenes of moments we didn’t get to catch or take in for a second time. Seeing the photos again was like reliving a part of the same day over and over again. What a blessing these have been.
If you were to recommend me to your best friend what would you say?
She has been gifted an amazing talent. I’m honored to have been a part of the work she does. Erin and I would be BFF’s if I lived in San Diego! I have so much admiration for her.
