Destination weddings forever!!! Adrianna and Justin’s perfect Mexico wedding day was located at The Finest Resort in Playa Mujeres. Working with these two was a total dream, they were SO present and relaxed the entire planning process which made my job incredibly easy. I was completely honored they asked me to be a part of one of the biggest moments of their lives and I had the best time hanging with them and their family in paradise.
Playa Mujeres is located in the northern area of Cancun and is seriously breathtaking. Adrianna and Justin had their closest friends and family there to celebrate, making the day SO intimate and special. That’s the magic of destination weddings. The resort, Finest Playa Mujeres, has the most GORGEOUS ceremony space with a very modern gazebo and private ocean view. Adrianna was the most beautiful bride coming down the aisle and her and Justin’s ceremony had us all TEARS. It was the sweetest. :’)
After the ceremony, it was a PARTYYYY! Their reception was held on the Sky Bar Terrace at the resort and Adrianna and Justin really brought the energy. The night started with a mariachi band and disco balls, then ended with money shooting guns and an endless dance party underneath the Cancun sky.

What is your FAVORITE memory or moment from your wedding day?
Our favorite moment of the whole day was right before we said our vows, our officiant asked us to look around and remember the people sitting there before us and to really take in the moment. I looked out and was filled with an extreme emotion of gratitude as I saw everyone there was genuinely happy for both of us and how excited they were to be there. We both looked back into each other’s eyes and I just remember being so dang proud that my now husband was able to enjoy that special moment with me.
Why did you choose your wedding venue? What was special about it?
We just Finest due to its luxurious and tropical vibes all in one. The views from everywhere you turned were spectacular. As soon as we stepped foot into our resort and toured our venue we both knew it was the one. We had never had that feeling about previous resorts we had been to!
If you were to recommend me to your best friend what would you say?
I recommend x1000. I am not emotional and pictures don’t typically make me cry, from time to time an “aww” will come out of me… while looking through these photos I was an emotional mess. These were the most beautiful photos I had ever seen. Every small and big moment was captured in the most beautiful of ways. I wanted to remember the moments how I saw them that day, and Erin captured them so perfectly.

One of my FAVORITE things when I shoot weddings is to capture some photos on 35MM film. You can add film photos into your wedding package with me and choose how many rolls you’d like. It gives such a unique and vintage touch to your wedding gallery! Sharing some of my favorite film photos from this day below!
